Made with deliciously soft navy blue fur felt, the 'Endora' is trimmed with a top-stitched matching felt band and chartreuse green vintage silk veiling draped around the base of the hat. Three hand-cut ostrich feather pompoms complete the composition, one each in apple green, gold, and burgundy. It was made using authentic vintage hat blocks from the late 1930s or early 1940s, when Schiaparelli's mini top hats and other perchy little 'doll' hats were all the rage. While it has a high-peaked crown, the headsize of the 'Endora' is only 19.5"/ 50cm. It perches forward on the head, held in place with a fabric-covered elastic and/or combs, so any size can wear it. Paired with a slightly domed round picture brim that beautifully frames the face.
 
I have only a very limited amount of this veiling available, and when it's gone, this style will be discontinued.
